Nature as a portal to your soul
We all have a longing, consciously or unconsciously, to connect with our essence, to know and live from our unique purpose and place in the world.
Yet the vast majority of us do not know how to access this precious part of our being - it might seem mysterious and elusive at best, at worst completely and frustratingly unattainable.
Luckily, there are several effective ways to access the soul realm.
The one that turns me on most and that I am here to support people in, is through connection with the natural world.
I have been on this path of nature and soul work for the last 15 years, and the richness my life has gained from it is beyond anything I can put into words.
Nature work has put mystery at the center of my life and has allowed me to connect with my vibrantly alive inner worlds and their wisdom in a way no other practice has.
So how can nature support us in connecting with our soul?
Our soul does not exist or speak in logical or linear ways, which is the lens through which we normally perceive the world.
Our soul speaks to us through deep imagination, dreams, symbols, visions and full-body sensing. Nature speaks to us in exactly this language, too.
So when we intentionally turn to nature as our guide, those deeper layers of our being that our rational mind normally has a tight grip on, will stir and awaken through your sensing, feeling and visioning.
And a knowing that is so much deeper, vaster and wiser than you might imagine can emerge from your depths and start guiding your life.
This practice, as wonderful, even romantic as it sounds, is not for the faint-hearted.
Why?
Because you never know what hidden or suppressed aspect of yourself you might encounter around the bend.
It takes courage to confront oneself with those deeply wildly wise and knowing parts of your being that will inevitable surface through nature-based soul work.
For they will very likely pose a threat to the mediocre, comfortable life you are currently living and demand nothing less than your fullest truth.
Nature-based soul work will invite you to open to the rawness of life, feel what there is to feel, face what you need to face and put you in your rightful place, in line with your life’s calling.
Isn’t this what you are longing for, deep down?
If you wish to embark on this nature-based path to soul, it can be helpful, if not necessary, to call on the support of a guide experienced in the way of soul, nature and mystery.
Someone who knows the wondrous and treacherous path towards deeper soul contact.
Someone who can identify and help you work with all the loyal parts within you that want to keep you safe and small.
Someone who is capable of really listening to the deeper undercurrents of your stories, and skilled in asking questions that allow you to deepen into the inquiry and sense-making of your experience.
Someone who speaks words of encouragement to follow your thread of knowing despite those inner (and outer) voices telling you that there is no point, and to support you feel what there is to feel along the way.
